Ferriby Girls Shine in National School Tournament

South Hunsley U12s won the National Indoor 5 a side tournament at Derby Soccerdrome on Monday. 

The squad of 7, which included 5 North Ferriby players (Georgia Cook, Tabetha Wood, Mia Wyndham, Chloe Cloutier and Katie Cubitt) beat St Ivo School from Huntingdon in the final 2-0.

The girls won the Hull & East Riding district round in December before winning the East Midlands section in January.  The best 8 teams from the 8 regions of the country met in Derby where South Hunsley knocked out teams from Cheshire, Newcastle, Sussex, Oxfordshire and Huntingdon to lift the cup and be crowned English National Champions
