Ferriby will be looking to kick-start their festive programme following a home defeat to Colwyn Bay and the abandonment of their game at Gainsborough on Boxing Day due to floodlight failure. The abandonment at Gainsborough was frustrating. The first-half was a fairly even affair but The Villagers were on top when some of the lights failed.
