National Game Awards: SK Kits Player of the Year Steps 3 & 4
North Ferriby United's Ryan Kendall has been voted the Step 3 & 4 Player of the Year in this season's National Game Awards. The triophy was sponsored by SK Kits.
Kendall has had an outstanding season. He scored 36 league goals to play a major part in North Ferriby's Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division title and automatic promotion to the Football Conference North.
In addition, Kendall helped Ferriby to the NPL Doodson Sport League Challenge Cup and the East Riding Senior Cup.
Kendall has also lifted the NPL Golden Boot award and Ferriby's own top goal-scorer trophies. He also came third in the Strike Force national goal-scorers competition.
Kendall is studying sports coaching at Hull University and living and playing locally has made it easier for him to study.
Kendall commented, "I've really enjoyed my time at Ferriby this season. It's been the perfect answer for me to commit myself to both studying and football."
Club Chairman Les Hare commented, "It's a tremendous honour for Ryan in what has been an outstanding season for both himself and the club."
